Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable: This topic covers the fundamentals of managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. Students will learn how to create invoices, record payments, manage outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments. They will also learn how to manage accounts payable by recording and tracking supplier invoices, managing payment schedules, and reconciling supplier accounts.
Recording & Reporting: This topic covers the basic principles of recording financial transactions and generating financial reports. Students will learn how to create and maintain a chart of accounts, record journal entries, and reconcile accounts. They will also learn how to generate financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Statutory Compliance: This topic covers the legal and regulatory requirements that businesses must comply with, such as tax laws, labor laws, and company laws. Students will learn how to prepare and file tax returns, comply with labor laws related to employee payroll, and ensure compliance with company laws related to financial reporting and corporate governance.Payroll: This topic covers the process of managing employee payroll, including calculating and recording employee wages, deductions, and taxes. Students will learn how to prepare employee pay slips, generate payroll reports, and comply with legal requirements related to employee payroll.The Business Accounting course provides a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices, and prepares students for a career in finance and accounting.
